600 Ocean Ridge Drive Beach Access
600 Oceanridge Drive Beach Access Summary

The Town of Atlantic Beach, on the Crystal Coast of North Carolina has many Beach Accesses scattered along miles of oceanfront beaches. At some you will find parking, wooden walkways, public restrooms and handicapped accessible facilities. Others are more primitive and offer only a quiet sand path through the dunes leading you to the Atlantic Ocean.
Just over the sand dunes you will find the wide, sandy beaches for which the Crystal Coast of NC is famous. On the beaches of Atlantic Beach there are beautiful seashells, ghost crabs, and sometimes a sea turtle. Please feel free to take the shells or a little sand, but if you come across a turtle or other wildlife including coastal plant life, kindly keep your distance as to not disturb.
The most impressive feature of the beach is of course, the vast Atlantic Ocean. The Atlantic Ocean is absolutely beautiful but can also be dangerous if not respected. Whenever venturing into the water we recommend that you always use the "Buddy System" which means, Always Swim With a Friend. We also recommend that you Swim Near a Lifeguard and beware of possible hazards like rip currents or underwater objects in the surf. Use the Coastal Locator to find the Atlantic Beach, Beach Access closest to your rental cottage or hotel that meets all of your needs. Have fun and don’t forget the sunscreen and maybe a fishing pole or boogie board to ride the waves.
