The Black Pelican is located on the Beach Road in Kitty Hawk at Milepost 4. The original dining area of the Black Pelican is the building that once served as historic Lifesaving Station # 6. The Black Pelican has several dining areas. The “porch”, which is enclosed, is a favorite spot for their loyal local diners. The upstairs dining room can accommodate large parties and offers one of the best ocean views on the Outer Banks.. The upstairs deck bar is open seasonally and is also available for private parties. The deck bar is a great place to enjoy fresh ocean breezes and a panoramic view. The Black Pelican horseshoe bar, located in the main restaurant, serves a full menu for lunch and dinner. It is the perfect place for the casual diner to enjoy a cool cocktail and a delicious meal. NTN interactive TV is available on many of the bars 16 televisions.
