Broad Creek Fishing Center is located in the Seafood Industrial Park in Wanchese, North Carolina on the Outer Banks. We are just minutes away from Oregon Inlet and Nags Head. Broad Creek Fishing Center is home to some of the best fishing in the world. Whether you are an expert angler going after marlin and other spectacular billfish, or you are a novice fisherman out for your first adventure. Our Outer Banks charter fishing trips are fun for the whole family so come catch fish and have fun.
Ships Store: Broad Creek Fishing Center offers a fully stocked ship store. We have snacks, drinks, sandwiches, ice-cold beverages, boating related accessories and maintenance supplies. Gasoline and diesel fuel are available at our docks. Check out our cool tee shirts, hats and sunglasses! Ice is available in 10 lb., 20 lb. 40 lb. bags.
Fishing Gear, Tackle & Bait: We carry a complete range of quality fishing lines, both mono and braided, as well as a great selection of seasonal tackle to cover the many species targeted throughout the year. Our tackle selection covers the complete spectrum from sound bottom fishing to blue water offshore. We carry rods and reels, by Daiwa, Jarvis Walker, Key Largo, Okuma, Penn, Sea Striker, Shimano, Tica, Tsunami and others. We carry frozen and live bait, and offer several distinctive brands of ballyhoo and chum.
Fish Cleaning: Our fish cleaning station is open air market style which means you can always see your fish being cleaned from start to finish.
Outer Banks Fishing Charters: We offer 15 different types of fishing charters including specialty trips that no other marina offers. All the Charter Boats at Broad Creek Fishing Center are USCG licensed.
Full Day Charters: Our Full Day Charters to the Gulf Stream target tuna, dolphin (mahi-mahi), wahoo, marlin and sailfish. The Ultimate ½, ¾, and Full Day Deep Water Bottom Fishing Charters go after grouper, tilefish, sea bass, snapper, and trigger fish. If you can’t make up your mind, try the "2 for 1" Full Day Gulf Stream Trip and have a chance at catching all of the above. This trip divides the day into fishing for tuna and dolphin and Deep Water Bottom Fishing.
Half Day Ocean & Inlet Charters: Blues, Spanish mackerel, king mackerel, cobia and false albacore are some of the types of fish caught on the Half Day Ocean & Inlet Charters. These fish are usually caught 1 to 3 miles offshore. The Extended Half Day Ocean Trip adds extra hours to the half day targeting larger fish up to 22 miles offshore. Fishing for amberjack with live bait around the towers is also available in season.
Head Boat Fishing: Our Head Boat runs 2 trips per day and can accommodate up to 46 people. Bottom fish such as spot, croaker, sea mullet, trout, flounder and bluefish are some of the types of fish caught. Fall and winter are the times of the year to book the Giant Striper Trips.
Our Sound Light Tackle Trip fishes primarily in the sounds and inlet using light tackle for a great time catching stripers, spot croaker, flounder, trout, red drum, puppy drum, bluefish, Spanish mackerel, spade fish and many other species depending on the time of year. For the more adventurous, Shark Trips are also available.
