“Embellishments for Living!” personifies the flair of our gift, home & garden design boutique The French Door in Nags Head. Owned and operated by Outer Banks artist Donna Greenlee, The French Door carries a wide variety of items including luxury candles (Trapp, Skeem, Vance Kitira), soaps, lotions & spa (Pre de Provence, Magniacotti, Cucina), stationary & cards, purses, bags & travel items, jewelry & watches. This elegant Outer Banks gift shop offers casual dining & table-top accessories, Tracy Porter & home furnishing accent pieces. The French Door also carries framed artwork, chandeliers and lamps, indoor & outdoor rugs, garden and floral accessories.
Outer Banks artist Donna Greenlee designs a custom jewelry line which is sold exclusively through The French Door. We also carry several other jewelry designer lines including Troll Beads. As an artist and buyer, Donna constantly seeks new & unusual products and has hand selected lines for her customers that incorporate design and color combinations for that extra added touch! The French Door is constantly evolving and adding new products which will enthrall you each time you visit.
We also offer a gift registry for weddings and showers and personal wish-lists for birthdays or special events. Gift delivery services for brides that register with us are available. We have recently added baby to our gift selections and we have adorable things for baby & the mom-to-be.
