Welcome to Grandpa Shrimp And Crab Charters. Get ready to take a fun filled cruise on the Outer Banks waterways with an interactive experience that will make you think of Forrest Gump. This is the one experience that children young and old will remember for years to come.
The Boat: The Grandpa is a comfortable 35' Baycraft commercial fishing boat that has been refitted with state of the art navigational and fish finding technology. This boat is roomy and stable with top of the line equipment, a bathroom, all safety gear and is powered by a new 430 Cummings Diesel. The Captain: Captain Russell Firth Jr. is more than just another Outer Banks Charter Boat Captain. Captain Firth loves children, and children love him (he has a 2 and 4 year old). Captain Firth will patiently teach the children young (9 months) and old (101 years) how to fish the jewels of the Outer Banks waterways. Captain Firth won't teach the children how to swab the decks but he will teach them the meaning of Captain. He went out on his first commercial fishing vessel at the young age of four, and has been fishing ever since. He has 27 years of experience, and a lifetime of secrets.

Shrimp and Crab Charter:
Sound Only, Shrimp, Crab, Fish, we supply everything that you need. 2 Hours $275.00, 4 Hours $475.00 6 person maximum, 4 children maximum with 2 adult supervision. If you ever wondered about shrimping or crabbing then this is the trip for you. Good family fun, that is educational, exciting and you can keep your catch! Just think of the pride at the dinner table that night as you dine on the freshest seafood. Fresh Outer Banks seafood that you caught! What will the children say?

Sound Charter:
4 Hours $450.00, each additional hour is $125 with a 6 person maximum. Fish the inland waters for Spot, Croaker, Trout, Flounder, Red Drum, Bluefish, Blow Toad, Pin Fish, Hog Fish. Fish for Striper in the Fall & Winter.
Dolphin Tours: 2 Hours $250.00; 4 Hours $450.00
Longer trips available upon request
Inshore Charters:
4 Hours $475.00, each additional hour is $125.00. 0-21 miles Fish for Bluefish, Spanish & King Mackerel, Cobia and Red Drum.
Ocean Wrick Charter: 12-20 miles.
6 Hours $725.00, 8 Hours $1,000.00
Offshore Charter: $1,250.00, Out To 40 Miles
11 Hours 5:30 am - 4:30 pm, up to 6 people
Fish for Tuna, Dolphin, Wahoo, Marlin, Sailfish, all Bait & Tackle Provided.
Sunset Cruise: 2 Hours $250.00; 4 Hours $450.00
Specialty Charters available upon request, call for quote.
Makeup charters: If you do not have a full party, we will make-up a charter for you. Thursdays only.
Shark Fishing: 4 Hours $500.00; 8 Hours $900.00.
Fish for Hammerhead, Sand Tiger, Blacktip, Lemon, Nurse, Possibly Bull. Other fish are possible at the same time such as Cobia & Red Drum. Longer trips are available upon request. Booking Policy: A credit card number or $100.00 cash deposit are required on all bookings. 6 person maximum on all trips. No more than 4 children and they must be supervised by 2 adults.
Cancellations: No shows will pay the full amount. No excuses. If cancelled two weeks or less prior to charter date the deposit will be lost if the time and date of the trip cannot be filled. If filled your deposit will be gladly returned.
Weather Cancellations: The Captain is the only one who makes the call. If the party decides not to go after talking with the Captain then the deposit will be lost.<
