Medical House Calls of the Outer Banks was established to provide you and your family with the highest quality of health care on the Outer Banks in the comfort of your own environment, whether that be your home, work, school, rental cottage, hotel or boat. Medical House Calls offers evaluation and treatment for adults and children with common non-life threatening illnesses and injuries such as ear infections, flu, fever, swimmers ear, sore throats, etc. when your personal physician is not available. We are not meant to replace the Emergency Department for true emergencies or your regular physician for management of chronic illnesses or conditions. Instead, Medical House Calls of the Outer Banks hopes to provide a convenient Outer Banks medical service to you by taking care of those unexpected illnesses that arise without the inconvenience of a doctors visit. If you are a visitor to the Outer Banks, and would prefer to have an Outer Banks medical provider meet you at your rental cottage or hotel, instead of fighting traffic to seek treatment, MEDICAL HOUSE CALLS is a convenient solution for you. If you have a situation that is not listed in our ad, please don’t hesitate to call Medical House Calls of the Outer Banks so we can verify if your illness is within the scope of our practice. If it’s not, we will be happy to suggest a more appropriate treatment option.
