Thank you for visiting Stripers Bar & Grille. Stripers Bar & Grille in Manteo featuring the Bearded Clam Raw and Steam Bar is a new restaurant. Stripers Bar & Grille Outer Banks is a premier service orientated restaurant welcoming all guests to a casual fun filled dining experience. Our Outer Banks cuisine will always be offered to our customers for lunch, dinner, brunch and in house catering, with a capacity to serve up to 160 people.
Stripers Bar and Grille is located on Shallowbag Bay in Manteo and features a unique setup for an Outer Banks restaurant. Being right on the water, Stripers has temporary boat docking for those patrons that want to arrive by boat. Stripers has three levels and features a slightly different ambiance on each.
The first level features the Bearded Clam Raw and Steam bar, has outdoor dining on both sides of the restaurant facing Shallowbag Bay. This level features a huge horseshoe shaped bar, large, dramatic windows which bring the view inside as well as eating and tables. Definitely, a casual setting with multiple LCD televisions and lots of friendly conversation. Feel free to wander outside to enjoy the views and fresh clean Outer Banks air. Outdoor dining and service is available.
Upstairs, (there is an elevator) you will find our smoke free dining area. Large windows provide beautiful views of Jockeys Ridge, the Manteo waterfront and Shallowbag Bay. In the dining room you can enjoy the exquisite seafood and cuisine that Stripers has become known for in a more traditional dining setting. Perfect for families, those with children or those seeking a more intimate dining experience. Don’t worry, you can still order all your favorite Outer Banks seafood from the steam bar downstairs.
Finally, on the third floor Stripers Bar & Grille features their exclusive “Members Only” dining area. Accessible only by members, this dramatic setting features a full bar (all ABC Licenses Available to members), a steam bar, indoor seating and an outdoor deck overlooking Shallowbag Bay from the THIRD story. The view is incredible and you can eat on the deck as well. Membership to Stripers is by application and there is a 72hr waiting period, give us a call and we will send you an application so that you can start enjoying Stripers on the Outer Banks as soon as you arrive.
