Tar Heel Trading Company was established on the Outer Banks of North Carolina in 1979, and originally featured the work of predominately North Carolina craftsmen. Tar Heel Trading Co. now represents over 300 American artists and craftspeople in its two locations on the Outer Banks, and on www.tarheeltrading.com. For over 25 years we have searched to find the finest crafts available, concentrating on quality, function and value. Our buyers are very selective about the work featured in our stores. Each piece is chosen with the customer in mind.
The Tar Heel Trading staff is carefully trained to make your shopping experience a personal and positive one.
