     We offer charter fishing excursions or crabbing trips anywhere on any type of boat - it just depends on what you want to do. Try your hand at BIG GAME SAFARI FISHING!! At Corolla Bait & Tackle, you can go offshore, inshore, backcountry, or relax with the whole family and fish aboard our leisurely designed 25 foot pontoon boat in the Currituck Sound. If you have a big group, let us arrange your trip on a Head Boat. Or, if you prefer keeping your feet on land, we conduct Surf Fishing Classes, & we also have Rod & Reel Rentals & Crab Pot Rentals.           The half-day trips leave three times per day. A morning trip usually runs from 6:00 am and you will be back on the dock by 10:00 am. The afternoon trips start at 10:30 am and finishes by 2:30 pm. Our evening trips start at 3:00 pm and you're back on the dock by 7:00 pm. There is an unlimited amount of water that you can cover, and a wide range of fish that you can catch. It varies greatly with the weather, but you could be fishing in the sounds, the inlet, just off the beaches, or up to 5 miles out. Fish to expect include bluefish, Spanish mackerel, amberjack, jack crevalle, redfish, flounder, striped bass, triggerfish, spadefish, cobia, king mackerel, and numerous other species. The cost of the boat, which can carry up to 6 passengers, is $425. Or, if you do not have 6 in your party, and you do not want to pay for the entire boat, you can get on our make-up list. We specialize in putting together trips where we match the number in your party with another party to equal 6 fisherpeople total.
     For bigger, more aggressive gamefish such as amberjack, cobia, jack crevalle, , and shark fishing, it is suggested that you take a 3/4 day trip. Price: $700. Half day trips simply don't allow for enough time to go a little further out in search of these larger predators. 3/4 day trips go from 6:00 am until 12 noon, or from 12:30 pm to 6:30 pm.  You can also book a full day inshore trip and spend 8 hours on the ocean in search of various species.
